Detailed functions and features of pad printing ink tray:
Containing ink:
The ink tray is a container used to hold ink in the pad printing machine to ensure that the ink is evenly distributed on the steel plate.
Cooperating with Dr.blade (scraper):
The ink tray and scraper work together to scrape off the excess ink on the steel plate, leaving only the pattern on the gravure.
Controlling the amount of ink:
The ink tray can be selected in different sizes according to the size of the steel plate. The depth of the brush can control the amount of ink on the steel plate.
Advantages and disadvantages of ink tray:
Advantages: Smaller steel plates can be used to print larger content. Small steel plates also mean cheaper plate making costs.
Disadvantages: Traditional ink trays are usually open, and the ink is exposed to the air, which is easy to evaporate and dry, and the smell is heavier than the ink cup type.
